Berlin has lots of nice coworking spaces to build and grow your team. KinkyWork is one of them. Here are some questions that may be helpful to choose the best space for your team:
1. privacy vs. community?
At KinkyWork, you will get a team area, which is a separate and lockable space within a 700 m² loft. Focus among your team members when you need it and interact with the community when you want it.
Other spaces will offer private offices or several desks in an open space. KinkyWork's team area provides more privacy and cohesion than individual desks, while you will still feel like working in a large converted warehouse loft.
KinkyWork's front desk is staffed 8 hours per day with the nicest and most diligent people we can imagine. Expecting guests, e.g. for a client meeting? Our front desk will make a great first impression by greeting your guests, seating them in a meeting room and notifying you. If you want, we will reliably scan your paper mail so that you can work with PDFs instead.
Traditional coworking spaces may refill the printer paper from time to time, but very few will take office service for teams seriously.
KinkyWork takes pride in its professional atmosphere. Our members like to work hard and to get stuff done. Your team's home will be in a converted warehouse loft with a ceiling height of 5 meters. The workspace has been designed with the kinky attitude that has originated in Berlin's clubs. Being successful does not mean being boring!
KinkyWork helps you to stand out when growing your team. People do not just choose to work for you because of the money (ok, some do), but also because they like the other team members, the spirit and their future work environment.
Competition in the hiring market is intense, especially if your office is in a building full of other offices that look just like yours. There are lots of ways to show off a unique culture – KinkyWork gives creative companies a head start in that regard.
5. natural sunlight?
At KinkyWork, your desk will be in a room with 215 (!) windows on three sides. Enjoy lots of natural sunlight!
For comparison, there is at least one coworking space in Berlin that rents windowless team rooms.
6. healthy lifestyle?
At KinkyWork, you or your team members can go for a run and then use the shower afterwards. Feel free to use the indoor wall bars, several sets of gym rings or attend a yoga workshop. Keep your spine healthy by choosing between several ergonomic chairs, e.g. the "Net Motion" chair (Testsieger Stiftung Warentest 02/2017).
7. Meeting rooms?
KinkyWork has meeting rooms with capacities from 6 to 50 people. You can use them to meet clients or to have a private conversation. We make sure that they are in a good condition prior to every single booking.
Some other spaces simply hope that each occupant cleans up after themselves - and there are even those spaces that do not have meeting rooms at all.
It takes 15 mins to reach KinkyWork from Alexanderplatz, both according to Google Maps and in our experience. Our location in Marzahn's industrial village sure sounds like, well, "Marzahn", but it is actually very convenient to reach.
The S-Bahn is just across the street from KinkyWork and there is ample free parking if you or your clients arrive by car.
At KinkyWork, you will neither pay for empty desks nor run out of space. Easily rent additional desks when your team grows, cancel when your needs change. The rental is month to month to give you full flexibility. Larger teams may prefer longer cancellation periods and we will be happy to customize the rental terms for you.
A team area starts at 220 € per desk. KinkyWork provides really good value.
